Divine Rituals
Rudraksha, often referred to as the "Tears of Shiva," holds an unparalleled significance in Hinduism and spiritual practices. This powerful bead, which originates from the Rudraksha tree, is not just an accessory but a sacred tool that has been used for thousands of years to enhance one's spiritual and physical well-being.
Rudraksha beads are seeds of the fruit from the Elaeocarpus Ganitrus Tree, primarily found in the Himalayan region, Indonesia, and Nepal. According to ancient lore, these beads were formed from the tears of Lord Shiva when he opened his eyes after deep meditation. This connection with Shiva is why Rudraksha is revered as a divine object of protection and power.
Rudraksha beads come in different "mukhis" or faces, ranging from one to twenty-one faces. Each bead's number of faces determines its unique energy and benefits. The most common and widely used are the 5-faced (Panchmukhi) Rudraksha, which is believed to promote overall well-being, and the 1-faced (Ek Mukhi) Rudraksha, which is the rarest and said to symbolise the ultimate connection to the Divine.
